Scripture: “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalm 107:1 (NKJV)
November invites us to pause and remember the goodness of God. Amid busy schedules, unfinished goals, and life’s uncertainties, thanksgiving creates space to recognize the grace that has sustained us. Gratitude does not require a life without challenges; it grows as we recognize God’s presence through them.
As Clark Atlanta University alumni, we have much to remember with grateful hearts: professors who challenged us, friendships that strengthened us, sacrifices that made our education possible, and opportunities that helped shape our purpose. Our individual stories are woven into a shared legacy of perseverance, excellence, and service.
This season, let us turn our gratitude into action. Encourage a student. Reconnect with a classmate. Support a scholarship. Reach out to someone facing illness, grief, or loneliness. Around our Thanksgiving tables and throughout our communities, may we make room for others to experience the blessings we celebrate.
As we honor those whose presence we miss and cherish those still beside us, may we give thanks gor what we have received and consider what we can give.
PRAYER
Gracious God, thank You for sustaining us and for the people we have encountered along our journey. Comfort those whose hearts are heavy this season. Bless our alumni family, our students, and our beloved university. Give us grateful hearts and generous hands, that our lives may reflect Your love through service. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you would like prayer or spiritual support, please reach out. You are not alone on this journey.
