Membership Spotlight: C. Renee Little

Q: What inspired you to attend Clark Atlanta University (CC, AU, or CAU, and how did your time there shape who you are today?

A: I spent my early childhood in Atlanta. Even as a child, I loved the legacy and lore surrounding the AUC and the alumni who changed the world. The fact that CAU had amazing Communication programs sealed the deal for me.

Q: Can you share a memorable experience or tradition from your time at CAU that still resonates with you?

A: All the plays and projects as a CAU Player!! I still remember Bill Nunn directing one on our plays.

Q: How has being part of the CAU alumni network, especially in the Carolinas, impacted your personal or professional journey?

A: CAU was truly a home away from home for me. Whenever I connect with my fellow Panthers, I feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Q: What advice would you give to current CAU students or recent graduates navigating life after college?

A: Embrace all elements of life’s journey. Work hard, but do not neglect the relationships that guide and guard you.
