The Fruit of Faithful Labor
September signals a season of transition. Summer slowly gives way to autumn, and the seeds planted earlier in the year begin to reveal their harvest. This season reminds us that meaningful growth does not happen overnight. It is often the result of quiet faithfulness, patient effort, and perseverance when results are not immediately visible.
As alumni, we are part of the harvest of our beloved institution. The education we received, the lessons we learned, and the relationships we formed continue to bear fruit through our leadership, service, and accomplishments. We honor those who invested in us by investing in the generations that follow.
Perhaps you have been faithfully working, praying, serving, or giving without seeing the outcome you hoped for. Do not become discouraged. God sees every seed planted in faith. In the proper season, what has been nurtured with patience and purpose will produce a harvest.
This September, let us celebrate how far we have come while remaining committed to the work still before us. The seeds we plant today, in our students, our communities, and our alma mater, can become tomorrow’s legacy.
PRAYER
Gracious God, thank You for every seed of wisdom, encouragement, and opportunity planted in our lives. We are grateful for those who taught us, supported us, and helped prepare us for our journeys beyond our CAU.
As we enter this season of harvest, strengthen us to remain faithful in our work and patient in our waiting. Bless our students with determination, our faculty and staff with renewed energy, and our alumni with a deeper commitment to service. Help us plant seeds of hope, generosity, excellence, and opportunity wherever You have placed us.
May our lives produce fruit that strengthens our institution, uplifts our communities, and opens doors for the next generation. When we grow weary, remind us that no labor performed with love and purpose is ever wasted.
