Q: What inspired you to attend Clark Atlanta University (CC, AU, or CAU, and how did your time there shape who you are today?

A: The Atlanta University School of Social Work has a great reputation, and they offered me a stipend. The program challenged my beliefs. The program made me realize that all people are different, not deficient

Q: How has being part of the CAU alumni network, especially in the Carolinas, impacted your personal or professional journey?

A: The alumni association gives a chance to spend time with others who have a common interest.

Q: Can you share a memorable experience or tradition from your time at CAU that still resonates with you?

A: While I was there, I had a death in my family, and the faculty and classmates were very supportive.

Q: What advice would you give to current CAU students or recent graduates navigating life after college?

A: Join the alumni association and remember you didn’t make it without help.
